How to Know Who Is Stealing Your Wifi and Secure the Wiifi Network

There are many methods to know who is stealing your wifi.


  • By observing the LED Indicator in the modem.

  • By Log in to the Router settings.



By Observing the Router (Modem)


We know that when we just turn on the router the first power LED blinks. Then Ethernet LED start blinking. After a few seconds the Internet LED will start lighting with out blinking.

TIP

 The internet LED indicator will blink only if any device is connected. Otherwise it will remain stationary. You have to disconnect all devices and take a look on the modem or router. If it is blinking then you have to secure your wifi.

By Log In To The Router Settings


Log in to the router settings by username and password.
Don't know how to log in th router settings ->



 In the status tab check for wireless.

Then take a look at the no of connected devices and mac id's.

By looking on the connected devices list you can find the unauthorized connections. 

Change password if any unknown devices is connected.
